Insurance
The majority of services at Rise Center for OCD and Anxiety are self-pay. Rise Center for OCD and Anxiety is considered out-of-network for all insurance carriers with the exception of Original Medicare. After your intake evaluation is complete, you are able to download a superbill for services with a licensed provider that you can submit to your insurance for out-of-network benefits. Typically, out-of-network benefits include a deductible that must be met before partial reimbursement for services is paid by an insurance company.
We strongly encourage you to call your insurance company to inquire about your benefits.
- What are your “out-of-network” benefits for outpatient psychotherapy with a licensed psychologist?
- What is the annual deductible? How much is remaining for the year? Does it reset at the start of the calendar year or at another time during the year?
- What is the amount they will apply towards your deductible and what is the amount reimbursed once your deductible is met for the following services/CPT codes: initial evaluation (90791), individual psychotherapy (90832, 90834, and 90837) and group psychotherapy (if applicable, 90853).
- Is there a difference in reimbursement for services provided via telehealth vs. in-person? Are there any psychotherapy services excluded from reimbursement when conducted via telehealth? Do they require modifier codes or changes to the place of service on the superbill if conducted via telehealth?
- Is a limit to the number of visits per week or year?
- Always make sure to write down the date, the name of the customer service representative, and the reference number for the call.
Additionally, some of our clients have been successful with securing a single case agreement or prior authorization. We are happy to provide guidance about this process as well.

Good Faith Estimate
Rise believes in transparency about the cost of services and makes every effort to ensure potential clients understand the financial commitment that comes with engaging in therapy. In addition, under the law, healthcare providers are required to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance a “Good Faith Estimate” of the total bill for medical services, including psychotherapy. Rise staff sends personalized versions of this document to future clients prior to starting services. After signing, clients can download the document for their records from our patient portal.
Scholarship Program
Rise offers a limited number of need-based scholarships for treatment services. Learn more about our scholarship program and submit an application.
