We’re making strides for OCD awareness on Sunday, November 3rd at the annual One Million Steps For OCD Walk in New Orleans. This annual event, hosted by OCD Louisiana and the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF), is always a fun time to connect with each other while educating the community about what it really means to have OCD or a related disorder.

- Location: Washington Square, 700 Elysian Fields Ave, New Orleans
- Free to participate
- 2024 OCD Walk T-shirts available at check-in for:
- Children 12 and under
- Walkers age 13 and up who raise at least $25
Washington Square is a dog friendly, shaded, historic park with a playground in the Marigny. The Walk Route is between 1 – 2 miles and there will be snacks, an awards ceremony, and raffle. There will be other activities and fun challenges for all ages – mindfulness, scavenger hunt, affirmations, bravery stations, and more.
Funds raised support the programming of OCD Louisiana and the IOCDF including Courageous Campers 2025! These programs aim to drive change through advocacy, education, research, and resources that improve the lives of those living with OCD and related disorders.
