After spending her “Katrina semester” at Louisiana State University (LSU) and the spring semester studying abroad in Thessaloniki, Greece, she returned to the University of New Orleans and earned her bachelor of science degree in psychology in 2009. Dr. Lilly then worked for two years as a research assistant at Tulane Medical Center on a clinical trial for children with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
