Rise Center for OCD and Anxiety contracts with Dr. Batiste, a provisionally licensed psychologist, to provide in-person and virtual psychotherapy to adults with OCD, anxiety, and related disorders.
A native of New Orleans, Dr. Batiste earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Dillard University in 2012 and her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nicholls State University in 2014. She began her doctoral studies in Clinical Psychology in 2015 as part of the inaugural class at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology at Xavier University of Louisiana. She completed her predoctoral internship at Louisiana State University Health Science Center, where she continued her postdoctoral training until 2024.
Dr. Batiste has extensive experience providing psychotherapy and assessment services in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She has worked with children and adults, treating mood, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders. Her professional interests include engaging in advocacy and organizing efforts within in the field of psychology and the broader community.
